California Public Utilities Commission Provides Special Phones For Free

If you or someone you know has difficulties with using a regular phone because of problems with seeing, hearing, speaking, remembering or moving there is a special phone available to help. Applications for the special phones are available at the Union City Library 34007 Alvarado-Niles Rd. in Union City.

These special phones and devices are able to: Turn up the volume: Make dialing easier: Allow hands-free operation: Flash incoming calls: Display conversation in text: Remember numbers just to name some of their special features.
