We Are America – USCIS Children’s Art Project

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is hosting an art project for the 2010 celebration of the “September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.”  Children between 5 and 12 are invited to send in drawings/paintings on the subject of what it means to be American.  Your entries will be displayed in the local USCIS offices.

In early September USCIS will have a special reception for the artists and their families to view all the artwork submitted locally.  The deadline for submission is August 30.  Artwork can be mailed or dropped off at USCIS office.  For more information on this fun project, please check USCIS website.
