Teen and Tween Henna Program at the Union City Library

 Teens and Tweens are invited to create and choose their own designs for a Mehndi Henna program 3:30 – 5 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the Union City Library. Henna artist, Rachel-Anne Palacios, will explain the traditions of henna art and demonstrate techniques.

Participants need permission slips signed by parent or guardian. Sign-up and permission slips are at the reference desk. The Union City Library is across the street from Logan High School at 24007 Alvarado-Niles Road in Union City.

This event is part of a series of 150 free Art IS Education events for youth and families presented by Alameda County Library in partnership with the Alameda County Arts Commission and the Alameda County Office of Education to celebrate arts education and creativity.
