This performance by the Ballet Afsaneh celebrates the New Year (spring equinox) in Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikistan. This performance includes the dance, music and poetry of the historic Silk Road networks of Eurasia. “Afsaneh” is a wonderful word, meaning
“legend” or “mythic story.”
